Step 1 | Quick Chat

We make a time to have a quick chat about your immediate needs and what you need help with most. Whether that’s copy writing, social media, or if you need help figuring out where to go next with your marketing. This first meeting is all about YOU.

Questions I might ask include: What are some pain points in your business right now? Which things need to happen, but aren’t? What don’t you have time for? Which tasks do you struggle to do yourself? This helps me figure out how best I can provide value and will determine the nature of our next meeting.

Duration: 15-20 min

Step 2 | Intake Meeting

During our first meeting we will have agreed on which of my services you need most. The next meeting is all about me getting to know you, your brand, and your company. I can deliver my best work when I know as much about your brand as you do!

In this meeting, we will talk about the history of your company, your brand values, overall marketing and business goals, as well as things that have worked well in the past and what hasn’t. After this meeting, I will provide a strategy or proposal that is uniquely crafted to your needs and brand which lays out the plan that we will follow to reach your goals.

Duration: 60-90 min

Step 3 | Strategy Review & Brainstorming

In our third meeting, you will have had some time to consider the proposal and strategy of the project that was laid out after our two discovery sessions. At this point, I will either need to brainstorm with you on the particulars of the project before I can action the steps I proposed, or I may just need your sign-off and final okay before I start.

We will go over the plan I have laid out for you and I will answer any questions that you may have about the particulars. We will also agree on deliverables, deadlines, and fees at this meeting.

Duration: 30-60 min

Step 4 | Creation

All our planning has paid off and I can start creating! I’ll either set up a shared Google Drive or Slack channel for us to keep in touch and for me to share progress with you. In the case of social media management, I will share a monthly content calendar with you to review, and with layout designs I will send various drafts for you to check.

Even though I am the one creating your web copy, social media posts, newsletter layout, [insert your need here], we are collaborators on this project. Your input continues to play a pivotal role in reaching the goals we set out to achieve.
